1 high school teacher feeling slightly melancholy and extremely jittery. (too much punch)


i think i did pretty well....
i didn't get lost more than once (or twice if i'm honest).
i was charming with parents and grandparents (one grandma asked me if i was a student's friend.... i said, "no, i'm actually her band director")
i didn't hit any family pets with my car.
i managed to stay away from all of the cake.
i also managed to not screw up the graduation ceremony. yay.

overall, i'm sad. these students were great and i will probably never see them again.
i have to do this every year.
