i appreciate a 4 hour concert as much as any other person would. (and maybe even more!)

this weekend i will be headed home. to a home i left in may. surprisingly enough (and to my good fortune), this weekend is family weekend. and you know what that means...... an insanely long concert highlighting every music student at nwc and their moms! i'm so very excited to hear some music and visit with friends.
you know, i can't remember if i was the person who hated playing at the family weekend concert, or if i had no opinion on the matter. i'm sure i will thoroughly enjoy sitting and listening to the concert now that i'm so much older and much more mature (in a sarcastic/pompous voice). in all seriousness, i look forward to talking, listening, and just being with a few people i love and miss so much. i feel like i'm millions of miles away from my college years. i'm such a grown up. well, maybe not.

in other news, the election is tomorrow. (if you haven't heard.) and instead of sitting in front of the tv listening to all of the crazy, intense election commentary, i will be in a school gym... with 40 other teachers.... and a couple of parents for about 4 hours. yay. what a perfect evening. i'm scared.
