i adopted a kitty this weekend. i named her sadie. she is very sweet and very pretty. she is a tabby cat and probably a few months old. her hair is long and soft. she loves to sit on my lap and sleep. its so cute! i definitely enjoy having her here with me.

i'm so ready for thanksgiving break. tomorrow at school there isn't a lot going on- we get out 2 hours early (which is so nice). the only rehearsal i'm leading is jazz band. the rest of the day i will be watching videos about respect/making good choices and crowd control at 2 assemblies. yay- i love character videos.

so today i had my first meeting with my principal to go over an observation he made last week. he seems to be happy with what i'm doing which is so nice to hear! he appreciated my work to make the transition from the previous director as easy and smooth as possible. i really needed to hear some positive comments from him, especially since the school is in the process of consolidating with another district.

all in all, i'm pumped to be at home for a few days with my new kitty, sadie. i'm excited to see some friends from high school and reconnect with them. i'm also looking forward to spending some quality time with my sister on black friday (shopping!) And, of course, i'm looking forward to spending time with my family and relaxing!
